Stroll through the pine forest to the Suoi Tia - Streams for a view of picturesque around Tuyen Lam lake. Rolling through between the jungle and Pine forest and enjoy kayaking in the afternoon. Moderate 3 hour walk at the most beautiful lake in Dalat.  

 This 1  day trip starts to the South of Dalat City.  We drive along picturesque scenic roads to the Thong Dong Trailhead, where we start our journey.

We warm up the walk through pine forest paths for a half of an hour then we take a short break at Maple trees - La Phong Campsite by the end side of the lake.  Here we get ready  for the the the Jungle boogie.  The great views of the valleys and streams of Suoi Tia area where water come from to the lake.  we descend and you will notice a very dramatic difference in the flora and fauna.  The valley you enter is intermittent pine forest and jungle, but the jungle that Vietnam is so famous for.  It is a short but exciting bit of jungle that you walk through. You will emerge on the other side, at a campsite where you can relax for picnic lunch. A fresh veggies and fruits, baguettes with an assortment of toppings and a French-style pastry to satisfy your sweet tooth. Dalat is known as the vegetable garden of Vietnam and lunch offers you a chance to try some of Dalat’s tasty produce. The all afternoon at the camp site where you can take a kayak to explore the most beautiful lake in the central highlands. 

A trip to the Highlands wouldn't be complete without exploring the beautiful jungles and lakes in the region. Nothing beats the stunning views of mountains and forests from the serenity of Tuyen Lam Lake. Head deep into the jungle on foot and by boat through small rivers and tributaries that feed into the lake. Alternatively you can walk a bit further back to a pick up point by vehicle.
